THE OVERVIEW

PUT YOUR FEET TO THE FIRE on one of the Southeast's tallest and fastest stand-up roller coasters. The Georgia Scorcher, Six Flags' eighth coaster, combines stand-up roller coaster technology with a twist-riders stand, not sit, as they blaze through loops, speed sprials, and a figure-eight that produces 4 Gs! Presented by America Online.

Being the only stand-up coaster in the southeast, The Georgia Scorcher has its own superiority. Although this coaster looks short and tame, this roller coaster is packed with intensity. The queue line is lame and the ride has no basic theme, which slightly takes away from the score, but the layout and design of the ride takes up for it. The ride on this smooth and B&M (like always) made very comfortable trains and restraints. The ride is fun, and the inversions and elements are used very well. This coaster is recommended to all coaster riders above the height restriction!
